Frequently Asked Questions
The Greater Hubbard Chamber of Commerce is committed to building a stronger, more connected community. Whether you’re a business owner, a resident, or a volunteer, your support makes a difference. Here’s why joining the Chamber matters.
Why should I join the Chamber if I already support the community?
Joining the Chamber amplifies your support. It connects you with other like-minded individuals and businesses, helps fund important events and initiatives, and creates real visibility for your business or presence in the community. It’s about showing up for Hubbard—and showing that you care about helping it grow.
What does the Chamber actually do throughout the year?
The Chamber hosts monthly meetings, organizes major community events like Magnolias & Mistletoe and Memorial Day Weekend, promotes businesses through Facebook pages, coordinates Chamber After Hours, Clean-Up Day refreshments, grand openings, and more. We also host a yearly banquet and monthly Shop Local drawing to highlight Chamber members.
What are the benefits of being a member?
Members enjoy increased visibility, networking, promotional support, business features, community involvement, and more. Your membership strengthens your business and the entire community.
I don’t have time to attend every meeting—should I still join?
Yes! Your support helps the Chamber function, even if you can’t attend regularly. You’ll still be listed, promoted, and included in activities and benefits.
How is the Chamber run?
We are 100% volunteer-run. Every event, project, and initiative is made possible by people who care about Hubbard and are willing to give their time and talents. It truly takes everyone working together to make our town thrive.
What if I just want to support but not be a full member?
We welcome supporters! You can contribute through one-time or recurring donations—every bit helps. Your support directly impacts local businesses and community initiatives.
